This is good news. The more disappointing news is that the iPlex study showed no real difference to folks with DM1. The first trial had been very promising. Then the second part of the phase II study showed little overall promise although there was some hope for some results with insulin resisteant patients. This is disappointing as for those with the advanced conditions, the next drug will be years away.

There is a lot of new discoveries and new therapeutic ways to deliver lethal blow to these diseases on a cellular and organism level. There is years of testing in the way. The drug companies will need patients to do the testing on.

IDMC-7 will take place next month in Germany. We hope to bring you again news that will offer even more hope.

Richard
