Reply with quote | #2 | I had great success with Provigil but developed an allergy to it (bad hives). Now I am taking Amantadine. It offers some relief but not as much as the Provigil. Good luck! |

Reply with quote | #3 | In the UK the doctors can prescribe 2 different drugs to help with the day time sleepiness, the first is Modafinil (Also known as Provigil) and the other 1 i cant remember its name, but its something like concerta. My wife started on Provigil at 100mg a day, she has recently moved up to 200mg a day, 1 at 9 am and the other one at around 12 noon. The drug has helped in reducing her day time sleepiness

I also have taken provigil and at first I liked it I was more alert but not wired after about 2 weeks it quit working a tried 2 a day same result but I have a friend who swears by it. __________________ Aimee Jo |
